The Global Biofuels initiative is a renewable energy project designed for the production of fuel ethanol, off-grid electric power, high quality beef, diary products, fruits, grains and nuts; all in a single cluster of stand-alone offerings linked in a manner to mainstream agro-industrial sustainability. The basic raw material input is sweet sorghum plus tropical sunlight. The blueprint of the pilot plant with 250klpd fuel ethanol capacity and 150mw of electricity from sorghum biomass and photovoltaic solar panels will be replicated in 21 States of Nigeria and across all the countries in the West African sub-region for carbon footprint reduction and pervasive employment generation.
